Sail away into the blue

Osaka, December 9-12 2014
We had about three full days in Osaka. Awesome. But as usual we kinda wasted it away.
On the 10th, if I’m not wrong, we headed to some shopping place where everything was dirt cheap and we bought lots of products and stuff (yay). Then we had sushi, retreated to the hotel and headed out for dinner nearby.
The next day, we went to the Osaka Aquarium as seen ^. I’ve a rather obsessive fascination for animals and hence the visit since I’d never do such things at home anyway. It was really fascinating although kinda disappointing that information on the animals were minimal. For someone who likes to read up on animals this was one bummer. But it’s okay. The layout was really cool although it’s rather difficult to back track to watch the feeding times. It was rather cramped as well.
After the aquarium we went to the next door mall for lunch. There was an animal petting zoo thingum there. Wanted to go in but the entrance fee turned us off. Looking back at it we should’ve just went in. There was a whole variety of animals. Hares, rabbits, huge tortoises, dogs, cats, pigs, kangaroos, a liazard (?) and an alpaca! Wtf man could’ve seen and touched an alpaca for the first time in my life. Sadly that didn’t happen as the alpaca had a day off. Animals do need a break sometimes.
We headed back to the food street and kinda went crazy shopping I think. Was really happy with my loots. Since when could you get a romper for $3?
I think that was our last night in Osaka? Following that, we went to explore the west parts of Japan. I’ll leave that till next time.
